THE LORD SHALL GIVE YOU GOOD NEWS - NAHUM 1:9-15
Behold, on the mountains The feet of him who brings good tidings, Who proclaims peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, Perform your vows. For the wicked one shall no more pass through you; He is utterly cut off. (v.15 NKJV)
The great GOD is at work; no one and no force can stop HIS good works from being performed in your life. There shall be showers of good news, and every affliction shall come to an end. This is the day of the LORD, praises shall flow continually from your mouth to HIM. The LORD shall do you well, and your righteous expectations shall not be cut off in Jesus name. Amen!
The vision of Nahum was against Nineveh who sometime ago repented from their wicked ways after they had listened to the message of Jonah. At this time, Nineveh which happened to be the capital of Assyria had grown in power and strength to such an extent that they oppressed and took Israel captive. But GOD never forgets HIS covenant with HIS Children, Israel; HE rose to avenge the affliction of HIS people. As you get connected to GOD by accepting the message of salvation that Jesus Christ brought, you become a covenant child, and the LORD will rise to take revenge on all that have been oppressing and afflicting you. This is the promise of GOD to HIS covenant children. Every yoke of the oppressor shall be broken from you and its burden shall be lifted off your shoulder. Every like of the oppressive chain shall be burst in sunder and you shall be free to proclaim the goodness of GOD in the land of the living. Your progress (promotion, success, victory, profiting) that has been hindered over a while shall suddenly happen to the glory of GOD. The name of that affliction shall no longer be known among you.
Look into your life now, what do you see? Can you see the LORD turn situations around for your good? Can you see pains and sicknesses leave your body? Can you see peace return to your home, business or organization? These and many others are the good promises of GOD to you because you have chosen to follow after the message of the Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Praise the LORD! Pray healing and deliverance to happen in the name of Jesus Christ for as many as desire them. Shalom!
