EXERCISE FAITH AND PATIENCE - HEBREWS 6:11 – 20
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.(v.12 NIV)
Have you observed that the number of hours in a whole day remains twenty-four (24); it does not matter whether we experience longer (or shorter) day and shorter (or longer) night. The sun still comes out in its season; the moon likewise; the heat and the rain at their times; yet the hours in the day remains the same. GOD makes all things beautiful in HIS time; may this be your time to be favored and decorated with the beauty of GOD.
I have seen people in troubles and distresses, and I had also experienced same; yet I have enjoyed the faithfulness of GOD. Sometimes when people are in deep troubles, it would be to them like the hours of the day were extended; and in such times, such people would pray that GOD shorten the hours that the pains or troubles they were going through would end soon. May be you are in this situation; or you have a friend with challenge(s), be encouraged and do encourage others that GOD shall help them; the Saviour will save them. Exercise faith in Jesus Christ; He will help you and be patient to receive His help.
There were several examples of people with diverse issues and challenging situations in the Holy Bible that waited on GOD and were not disappointed in the end. There are people in our world today with amazing testimonies too. Just wait to hear someone share his/her experience and you will know that GOD is never late; we only need to be patient and remain faithful to HIM. I am a true witness of GOD’S faithfulness; you are (or shall be) one too.
Beloved, delay is not denial; never allow any delay to translate to weariness of heart for you; keep holding on to GOD through faith in Jesus Christ, HE will make all things beautiful for you in HIS time. I pray that the LORD of the whole earth will translate NOW to be your TIME; may HE make all things happen in HIS will for you. May you hear HIM clearly and be comforted in HIS promises.
What have you been waiting on GOD for? Begin to praise HIM for the fulfillment of HIS promise. Declare that you know HE is never late. Pray for HIS comforting strength and wisdom. May HIS overwhelming presence take you over. Amen!
