A GREAT LIGHT SHINES – MATTHEW 4:12 - 25
The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned." (v.16 NKJV)
One of GOD’S good and great programmes is to see that those who walk in darkness receive the light and be free from the deceit and fear of the dark. May the programme of GOD to shatter and destroy all forms of darkness and its elements in your life and affairs be fulfilled to the praise and HIS glory in Jesus name. May HIS light shine on you and on your path.
An event in the life of John the Baptist, took Jesus, the Christ to Galilee, and the different cities that the LORD had purposed He visited that the people might be delivered from the bondage of the prince of darkness. Jesus Christ is the Light that shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome Him. The people that received Him in the cities He visited got the great Light of salvation, of healing and of deliverance shone on them. Their stories were changed for the better. Some fellows even got called into a great and better ministry. I am sure that the set time of GOD to shatter the darkness in around you is now; this may not happen until the event of Jesus’ ministry happen in your life.
GOD is the great organizer of events that can turn things around for the good of those who believe in HIM; I pray that HE worked out great events for you good this season. You too must have great testimonies; the stories of the past are surely going to give way for new and better ones in your life, business and affairs.
Beloved of GOD, this is a better season to be touched by the Light of Christ; this is the season to receive the good news that Jesus Christ brought for all in the world. This is the better time to make the goodness of GOD in Christ Jesus known to as many as this can be shared with. GOD will not just need to give you a testimony, HE also wants you to be one of those that will forever share the good news of HIS Salvation through Jesus Christ to others. GOD wants you to be the light to the people around and with you. You must shine and you shall shine well in Jesus name.
Call forth the Light and His power on you and on that issue that is bothering you. May GOD’S glory be revealed in you.
