LET GOD BE MORE FOR YOU – 1 SAMUEL 1:1 - 11
LET GOD BE MORE FOR YOU – 1 SAMUEL 1:1 - 11
Then Elkanah her husband said to her, "Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?" (v.8 NKJV)
Jehovah, you are GOD you are not man; I will praise you forever!
I pray that your mouth shall sing wonderful songs of worship and you shall be full of praise to GOD Almighty for all good things you shall witness and enjoy this season. You shall be a living testimony of GOD’S goodness to mankind. Stay blessed!
No person on earth can please you or satisfy all your needs righteously like GOD would do. Do not place your hope on any person; only trust that GOD can use any person for your good as HE can use you for the good of others. May your help not be delayed and may you have proof that GOD is enough for you.
The story of Elkanah, Hannah and Peninnah may not be new to you this time; but never forget to learn well every lesson the LORD would want you learn every time you read through it in the Holy Bible. I hope that you will learn to behave well in all circumstances in life. Do know that everything the LORD makes you to have is not for you to provoke or offend others with; but to glorify GOD with them all. Your job, your wealth, your materials, your skill, your family (wife, husband, children and all with you) are meant to be source of encouragement to others and of glory to GOD. Do check if you have been unrighteously proud. And it is possible that you might have been unrighteously sad or moody. Whichever, why are you so? Are you not ungrateful before GOD with your wrong actions? May GOD help you!
You can be provoked (and as a matter of fact, you will be provoked); but how you handle every matter at the point of you being provoked is very important – do not misuse your tongue; do not react in unrighteousness and learn to put your temperament in check. Above all, pray without ceasing. Take everything and every situation to GOD in prayers. It is well!
Pray that the life of GOD will flow through you to others as HE makes the life of Christ Jesus flow freely to you. Pray that waiting parents shall have the blessing of GOD this time. May GOD be pleased to satisfy your needs in Jesus name.
