MAY THE LORD RAISE YOU FOR HIMSELF -1 SAMU 2:22-36
'Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. (v.35 NKJV)
The glory of GOD is very clear over the day; may that glory shine brightly over you. May every effort to pull you down or ruin you be crushed by the power of GOD in Jesus Christ. It is well with you!
There is nothing anyone has that the LORD GOD does not know about. It is foolishness to be thinking that one’s power or skill had won or got some things for him/her. The LORD had permitted or had given, and everything must be used for HIS glory. Just understand that several people had desired and sought after that thing; but it has pleased the LORD to make it yours; and that for a purpose – for HIS own glory. You are in that office and with that position because the LORD had permitted it and HE wants HIS glory to be revealed in it. The student with good grades should understand GOD’S involvement. You are of GOD, and everything about you must reflect HIS will and glory.
Also, several bad things happen to some people; and we may be wrong in our opinion that GOD does not know about it; one should have rather tried to find out why HE had permitted it. HE is not a wicked GOD and HE demonstrates HIS love to all in Jesus Christ. The issue here is how many people recognize and receive this love that GOD shows in the death and resurrection of Christ? GOD is still calling on everyone to know this truth well.
For every event, there is always GOD’S plan and GOD’S choice of a personality that will manifest HIS glory in it. The devil also seeks and uses people to make sure GOD is displeased. But who you choose to obey in the events that play out to you is very important. This is where the help of the Spirit of GOD is needed.
It is a pity that Eli and his sons messed up the priestly order; they did not understand nor acknowledged GOD in their ways. Are you or your children growing in the service of the Lord in your (their) chosen carrier or profession? I pray that you will understand and grow in the knowledge of GOD and in HIS will that you have been raised to show forth HIS glory. Amen!
