WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT CHRIST? PHILIPP 4:1-9
What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you. (v.9 RSV)
There are several teachers in life, but there is one true Master. There are several events and experiences, but in all things give thanks to GOD. This is another season of eventful experiences that will lead to glorious encounters with the loving and saving grace of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. May you find the grace in Christ to help you through all of life’s events. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. It is well with you!
There is a need to be watchful of events that will take your peace and trouble your mind. There is a way to prevent it, and there is a solution when one falls into it. Try to be patient and learn to completely submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Let the help of GOD get to you; listen to the wise counsel of a child of GOD.
There is a need for you to allow the seemingly barrier between you and enjoying the peace of GOD be broken or be completely destroyed. Agree with the word of GOD in your relationship and dealings with others. Let go where you need to and forgive without holding back anything. Think righteously and let meditate more on the words in the Holy Scriptures. Be a true example of a child of GOD to others; and be available to help others in need.
Let people that claim to have known Christ be of one mind with Him. Why should there be quarrel between or among you when you are for Christ? Your mind should be set on things that make for peace and progress of one another. Your life and your entire living should be pointing others to the peace and joy of GOD.
There are yet several wonderful things to learn about Christ; and everything you learnt must be communicated in some way to others. Apostle Paul was proud to declare that the things that the Philippians people had learnt and seen about Christ in him they should do. Can you boldly say such to others that are watching?
Sincerely answer this question friend; are you for Christ, and is Christ yours? Pray that every barrier of offence in your relationship be destroyed by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the LORD have HIS way in you and in all your affairs. Amen!
