AH, RUN AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE – ROMANS 1:18-30
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they who commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.(v.32 KJ2000)
Dear LORD, we bless your holy name for another time before your presence; do help us to know you better today; and teach us by your Holy Spirit to love you more and do your will only. Let the grace of the Gospel of Christ preserve us from all evil influences and strengthen us to say bold no to satanic influences. May you be glorified in our lives and affairs in Jesus name.
Reading through this passage of the Holy Scriptures carefully, how do you feel? I tremble within me and I carefully ask the Holy Spirit to expose any hidden works of the enemy within me. May be you feel like praying same for yourself too. May GOD help you.
There will definitely be some people around you with ‘demonic’ influences (characters and demonstrations) as this writing to the Romans spelt out. People who have corrupted the truth and are bold to recruit others into their fold and pay great sums of money to advertise and make converts. People who are not ashamed to be known for the idols they worshipped but will be tormenting others who refuse to follow them; people who hate GOD and HIS Christ, and boasts in their evil inventions and manipulations.
Run through theses verses of the Scriptures carefully and check to see men and women with such characters around you. Please run away from them (not just physically though, but spiritually too). Take care to listen to your wards and friends about people and events that happen around their schools or other environments. Be ready to help them guard against the negative influences of people of corrupt tendencies, and others who have pleasure in these evil works. GOD hates these sins; but HE is willing to help the sinner become a saint through salvation in the power of grace in Jesus Christ. But when the sinner refuses the hand of help from GOD, he/she may be left to corruption, condemnation and eventual destruction hell. There is help in Christ!
Thank the LORD for the influence of the Gospel upon your life. Pray that the death and resurrection of Christ will not be in vain concerning you. May the altar of wickedness in our midst be destroyed in Jesus name.
