LET US LOOK AT THIS TOGETHER- EPHESIANS 4:17 – 32
This I say, then, and give witness in the Lord, that you are to go no longer in the way of the Gentiles whose minds are turned to that which has no profit, (v.17 BBE)
Great is the LORD, and HIS greatness is unsearchable. Gentle is our Lord and Christ; His love is unimaginable and unending. May the greatness of GOD be made manifest in all that concern us, and may the love of Christ cover us from all evil plans and works.
I make a passionate appeal to all about this Gospel of salvation that is in Jesus Christ. There is no other way to make it to the Kingdom of GOD; Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. The kingdoms of this world shall soon pass away, but the enemy of the soul is never at rest; he is seeking whom to deceive, kill and to destroy in hell. Any message that contradicts this is a lie. I thank GOD for you if you have made the right choice; and if you have not, consider your ways and plan for the kingdom to come.
To everyone who has pitched a tent with Christ, how did you get the Gospel message that saved you? I hope you are renewed in the spirit of your mind. I also hope you are not giving way to the devil by any means. Are you fully guarded and spirit-guided?
Beloved of GOD, consider carefully every verse in this passage; but let us look at the followings together - Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace to those who give ear. And do not give grief to the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were marked for the day of salvation. Let all bitter, sharp and angry feeling, and noise, and evil words, be put away from you, with all unkind acts; And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you.
The issue about being a man or woman of the spirit is essential here. No one can lay claim to be this morally good except by the Spirit of GOD. As a matter of fact, no one can be righteous, holy, gentle and loving all through life except when the person is under the control and influence of the Spirit of GOD. We all are exposed to the deeds of the enemy; there is a fight for our soul by the devil; but you can overcome by the Spirit of the Lord.
Holy Spirit, please have your way fully in our lives. Amen!
