SING OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD – PSALM 30:1 - 12

SING OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD – PSALM 30:1 - 12
I will give you praise and honour, O Lord, because through you I have been lifted up; you have not given my haters cause to be glad over me. (v.1 BBE)
Sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; let your mouth declare HIS praise and make known HIS goodness to you and to all that concern you. HE has been doing you well and HE will never leave you nor forsake you. Therefore, keep HIS good works in your heart and sing praises to HIM this day and always. May the LORD rejoice over you for ever. May you know peace and have joy salvation in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
There are many beautiful things to learn from king David, the Psalmist; his songs and writings are direct expressions of his relationship with the GOD, the great Jehovah. He would write and sing of how the LORD rescued him from sicknesses or pains or poverty; he would tell of how he was delivered from the enemy at the war front and from the enemy of his soul. He would write of his weaknesses and misbehaviors or unfaithfulness to this GOD; and in all he knew how to cry to GOD for help whenever he is in need, and GOD would hear and help him. Take time to think, and faithfully express the goodness of GOD to you too. Do not let it be that it is only when you feel good or when you have goods in abundance that you can praise the LORD. Know that every opportunity to be alive is a chance to declare the goodness of GOD, then you can cry to HIM and HE will help or save you.
Do not the guilt of sin prevent you from declaring the goodness of GOD to you; GOD’S anger may be for a moment, HIS mercy endures forever. HE has given us Jesus Christ, and His Blood speaks mercy continually; and by this, make your way right with HIM.
Now, as you sing of the goodness of the LORD may HE have mercy on you and help you. May HE help you out of every weakness and give you good strength. May HE take away the clothing of shame, of pain, of mourning, of failure and of grief from you and decorate you with the garment of glory forever. May HE turn your mourning into dancing and put a new song in your mouth; may your testimonies revive, encourage and win others to the LORD in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
