STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD – NEHEM.4:13-23
STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD – NEHEM.4:13-23
And after looking, I got up and said to the great ones and to the chiefs and to the rest of the people, Have no fear of them: keep in mind the Lord who is great and greatly to be feared, and take up arms for your brothers, your sons, and your daughters, your wives and your houses. (v.14 BBE)
May this day be a day of great encouragement to you and to all that are with you. May the power of the grace of salvation work victory for you every moment and may you not be void of understanding of the will of GOD in every situation before you. Never forget that GOD cares a lot about you and HE will never leave nor forsake you no matter how tough the situation before you may be. Know also the grace of Jesus Christ and the power of His Spirit to operate with all the time. You shall overcome!
Let this passage of the Holy Scriptures encourage your heart this day. Draw great inspiration from Nehemiah, his people and the strategy employed in the face of their challenge. Strengthen yourself in the word of the Bible; receive good strength in the LORD. Speak to others that may be in some form of challenging situation too; encourage them in the word of the LORD and pray in agreement for the manifestation of the help of GOD. You shall not be weary; you shall not be defeated. Jesus Christ is LORD!
One of the chief prayers to be made this time is that the LORD exposes every secret work of the accuser and the detractor(s) to you. Pray also for HIS strategy and wisdom to confront the challenge(s) and get victory or good success with you always.
Nehemiah’s style of leadership in this chapter is very encouraging; even when the people looked weak, and when the antagonists spoke against them and belittle their works, he would rather pray to GOD and cooperate with his people to work. Do not let the discouraging words of others build any wrong structure in your heart; demolish all wrong words and attitude by the word of GOD and by the help of the Holy Spirit. Stay strong!
Pray that you are equipped properly for every confrontation. Pray for more understanding in the word of GOD as your read through and pray with it every day. May your weakness be overturned for great strength in Jesus Christ name.
