THE PROMISED HELPER IS HERE – JOHN 16:1 – 15
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. (v.7 NKJV)
GOD has done us well and we will continue to praise HIM!
I trust that GOD is giving you reasons to praise HIM everyday. That is who HE; a loving, caring, faithful and wonderful Father. May this season flow with unending praise of GOD’S goodness to us all. May we rejoice in HIM forever, in Jesus name. Amen!
No one loves to part with a dear one; and no one takes death lightly; but here is Jesus Christ who was glad to announce HIS departure from the planet earth; but He was also sure of a part of the Divinity that must come after Him to abide with GOD’S people forever. Jesus Christ called Him the Helper (the comforter); the Spirit of truth; the power of GOD most High.
Several things that Jesus spoke about that will happen after His departure had taken place, and many are still being carried out until the appointed time. The strong persecutions (and killing) of the believers in the name of Jesus Christ has never stopped; indeed, some people who mindlessly killed do feel they offer service to GOD – but no one can fight for or defend great JEHOVAH. HE is GOD; HE is not man; HE has the whole world in HIS hands, and HE has all things under HIS control. Halleluiah!
The promise of the Holy Spirit; the Helper and Comforter; the Spirit of truth did take place; and the believers in the upper room at Pentecost had the experienced recorded for us. This Spirit is still willing to come on and dwell in anyone who submits to Christ and wait patiently on Him. There are testimonies to this, and this will not stop. I pray that you and someone with you become true witnesses of GOD’S good works in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is here now, He will expose every lie of the devil. The Holy Spirit is here, He will give comfort to your heart. The Holy Spirit is here, He will bring the power of GOD’S healing on you and on all that concern you. He is here with us and the enemy shall no longer glory in anything about us. He is here with us; we shall be empowered by Him to do and uphold the truth. May the Holy Spirit bring more fulfillment of GOD’S promises on you.
