ISHMAEL - GOD HEARS – GENESIS 16:7 – 16
From this pregnancy, you'll get a son: Name him Ishmael; for GOD heard you, GOD answered you. (v.11 MSG)
The night changes and become a clear day; not too long from now, the day will undergo its course and night will fall. Everything is subject to one form of change or the other; but GOD, the great ONE behind the changes never change. I trust HE will bring about great change for the better for you this time in Jesus name.
In the early part in this chapter of the Genesis book, Sarai made Hagar to become a baby-making tool in the hand of her hubby, father Abram. All the three involved agreed in their different parts to the operation. Nobody knew it would turn out sour, until Hagar began to misbehave to her benefactor. Or who would you call Sarai in this case; and who would you term Abram to be? Are you hiding your true nature or character because you have not got good hold on your expectation(s)? GOD hears the silent thought of your heart. HE hears what you think HE is not hearing too. Do you know GOD sees too? "You're the God who sees me!" "Yes! He saw me;..” this was what Hagar would say when she prayed after her encounter. I pray that you will have a glorious encounter with the LORD this time too. Your prayer life will change; your testimony will be outstanding; you will begin to live life faithfully.
Sarai showed Hagar another side of her; Hagar would not bear it again, so she ran away. But GOD had started something with the situation that had suddenly presented itself; HE had something else to bring forth from this; and so, Hagar could not run far. GOD got her; HE revealed to her part of what was to become of the child in her womb. GOD knows. GOD sees. GOD hears!
Have you being running from some situation? Have you being running away from the truth? How far can you run and how long do you think this can go on? I beg you to fall into the hand of the living GOD; let Satan no longer have control of the situation of your life. From this point, GOD can make better things of that which is termed ‘bad’. Just turn to the LORD by faith in Jesus Christ and make simple prayers to HIM. It is not over yet with you!
Dear LORD, turn around the situation of someone for a glorious testimony today; do great wonders in families. Amen!
