ANOINTED FOR SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT – ISAIAH 61:1-11
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; (v.1 NKJV)
Some people are of the opinion that only the Pastors or other called ministers of the Gospel are the people anointed to do the assignments of preaching the Gospel, ministering healing to the sick, conducting deliverance and to enjoy special blessings from GOD. But I see prophet Isaiah delivering to us GOD’S counsel that the Holy Spirit is delivered to every willing soul that is thirsting for GOD in righteousness and in truth; and Jesus Christ is the key and the door to enjoying this unction. Are you saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ? The Spirit of the Lord GOD must find a place to operate the works of GOD in and through you; it is a double pack package – He (Holy Spirit) works in you; then through you to the glory and praise of Christ in GOD.
By the power of the Holy Spirit in you, everyone around you shall no longer be in want of the word of salvation; the poor in the spirit shall be fed, and the good news of great joy shall be to the people. The people that mourn shall be comforted and those that are weighed down by some distress factors and troubles shall be helped. The weak shall be strengthened and those who have been under the bondage of sicknesses and diseases shall be healed. It shall no longer be said that your people are denied their rights in their different institutions. There shall no longer be abandoned projects and the beauty of the LORD shall be upon you and your people. The pregnant ones will deliver safely and those waiting parents shall be honorable blessed. Godly spouse shall be to the deserving singles and good jobs for those in need.
Every blessed soul shall say victoriously “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” May the LORD make righteousness and praise to blossom in your territory. You shall gloriously testify to the greatness of GOD.
