WHO ARE THE ADVERSARIES OF THE LORD? NAHUM 1:1-8 God is jealous, and the LORD avenges; The LORD avenges and is furious. PUT YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST TO WORK- HEBREWS 11:23-35 Faith caused the parents of Moses to hide the child for three months after his birth, for they saw that he was a beautiful child; and they would not respect the King's order (v.23 TCNT) Many definitions have come for faith; no matter the definition you have got, never forget that it is needed to live and to please GOD. Faith is the realization of things hoped for--the proof of things not seen... But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that God exists, and that he rewards those who seek for him. GOD WILL OPEN DOORS AND BREAK GATES – PSALM 107:10 – 16 For He has broken the gates of bronze, And cut the bars of iron in two. (v.16 NKJV) The entrances to strong places are often secured with strong doors and gates. The entrance into the day is of the LORD and in HIS name you approach it. May the door securing the treasures be opened for you, and the gates be lifted; may you be equipped with the secret keys into the locks of good health, good success and glorious victories; in the name of Jesus Christ. GOD OF GREAT MERCY – JONAH 4:1 – 11 And am I not to have mercy on Nineveh, that great town, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons without the power of judging between right and left, as well as much cattle? THE GOD OF ANOTHER CHANCE - JONAH 3:1 – 10 And God saw what they did, how they were turned from their evil way; and God's purpose was changed as to the evil which he said he would do to them, and he did it not. (v.10 BBE) GOD is good and HIS mercy endures forever. HIS compassion does not fail and HIS faithfulness is great. May we receive and enjoy in full measure, the grace and compassion of the LORD. There were two houses standing next to each other. In one of them resided a very unhappy family. The spouses yelled at each other, they fought and quarreled all the time. The other was a place of happiness and calm.  During one of the fights a wife asked her husband: “Did you ever hear them quarrel or yell over at that house? No! So, go there and see what they do to avoid it!” The husband stood at the window of his neighbors and watched. There they were busy doing their own thing. The wife was in the kitchen cooking, and the man sat at the table writing. The phone rang, and the man jumped up and headed to the hallway to get it. On his way he bumped into a vase, it fell and broke. He got down to his knees and started picking up the pieces. The wife ran into the room from the kitchen. JESUS CHRIST IS STANDING THERE FOR YOU – JOHN 21:1-11 Just as day was breaking, Jesus came and stood on the beach; but the disciples did not know that it was he. CONFUSED IDENTITY – JONAH 1:1 - 10 Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; what is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou? (v.8 ASV) Some people can be disappointing figures to GOD when it matters most, but I pray that you will be a figure of joy and gladness to the heart of GOD just like Jesus ever is. Amen! Prophet Jonah, the son of Amittai, from Gath Hepher (2 Kings 14:25) cannot be rated a ‘small’ prophet in his days. He was known to hearing GOD well and every word he spoke according as he had received from the LORD came to pass. RESIST THE EVIL PRESSURES - ROMANS 8:29 - 39 Who will come between us and the love of Christ? Will trouble, or pain, or cruel acts, or the need of food or of clothing, or danger, or the sword?
